ASSEMBLY DAILY JOURNAL

------------

THE THIRTY-EIGHTH DAY

------------

Carson City (Wednesday), February 26, 1997

Assembly called to order at 11:14 a.m.
Mr. Speaker presiding.
Roll called.
All present.
Prayer by the Chaplain, The Reverend Randy S. Woodley.
Mighty God, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty Father, Ruler of the Nations, Bright and Shining Star. Hope of a better day is only found in You. May our lives be found in You O Lord. O God, our wisdom. You have said if we need wisdom we are only to ask and You will give wisdom liberally. We ask for wisdom for those You have placed in authority--for there is no authority except by which You have ordained. Our leaders need Your help to establish justice in the land. May it flow down like rivers of water. May righteousness and truth prevail in this state. Amen.

Pledge of allegiance to the Flag.
